Roldanillo, February 15, 2011
Dear Poet, We are pleased
invite the XXVII Meeting of Poets Colombian Rayo Museum to be held between the 15 and July 20, 2011 at the headquarters of the Museo Rayo Roldanillo. This meeting is part of the year's thirtieth anniversary celebrations for the Lightning Museum is getting stronger all the activities that have characterized our institution since its opening in 1981. So we pay tribute to its founder, Omar Rayo while breaking new ground for seeking a life in art. In our museum, the arts have gone hand in hand with arts performances, publications and exhibitions. We are an institution dedicated to the integration arts and culture, decentralizing and projecting from the province to the outside. During the year, the Colombian Poetry Gathering, a pioneering event for Hispanic women, has become a hub of Lightning Museum. It is true that the architecture of the museum is a visual icon and a symbol of the significance of our institution. The whole building is an exoskeleton that surrounds, protects and plastered the art inside. Omar Rayo works and artists presented here are living and changing lives in this extraordinary house and give movement and direction. But the Poetry Gathering is the voice of the museum and air modules where recite, an array of syllables who claim to hear what shapes and colors of the works transmitted to the eye. Women's poetry leaves an echo in the room and leaves his mark on the books. I think the meetings, more than any other activity, have fueled the creative spirit of the museum giving the breath of life.
women we meet every year in the Museo Rayo modules we witness the force that gives our act of words joining and encouraging us to continue living poetry. Women attending for the first time almost always expressed his amazement and his joy at having participated in an event so momentous. Do they know that the most significant encounters are the readings of each participants. You will have your 12 minutes of reading when they receive the attention and full respect for all participants and then listen to their peers to realize that is part of an extraordinary community of voices in concert. In addition, within five days of the meeting attend plays concerning women, tributes to great poets, concerts, lectures, dance performances and exhibitions that highlight women's creativity and claim. You may enter the Contest Editions Packaging and hear readings from the winning works in the last contest. As always advocate for the voice of indigenous women and black women, oral poetry, written and visual of the elderly and young. We will be singing chorus and reverb workshop new verse. We will be preservers of history "motherland" and
forefront of change more than ever, after the disappearance of the Master Ray, we want women to participate in this event gives a unique sense to the Museum and demonstrates its continued plural proposal. We extend this invitation in the hope to spread the voice of the meeting and be accompanied by their peers to fill the exhibition halls in light of women's voices and fire of his spirit.
Pending our meeting and our re-encounter, I reiterate this invitation to the XXVII Meeting Poetry Colombianas,
